"The Perfect Fit: Shoes Tell Stories explores how shoes express ideas about gender, history, sexuality, race, class and culture. In this exhibition, artists create shoe-inspired art objects in clay, metal, fabric, wood, glass and paper, motivated by these same themes, and imparting their own vision in the process. This exhibition is curated by Wendy Tarlow Kaplan whose family has strong ties to Brockton's legendary shoe manufacturing industry."
