new Thank You cards

I finally bit the bullet and decided to purchase custom thank you cards from uprinting.com They arrived the other day and I'm pleased with how they came out, color/paper wise. It's great because now I'll be even more inclined to send off quick notes to people.

I made the VERY stupid mistake however, of not putting the title of the piece, copyright, my website info, etc, on the back of the card! Wow, dummy. I considered printing a sticker with the info on it but it just seems like an extra annoying step, (though it would be less annoying than hand-writing it all every time) I'm afraid a sticker may also be kind-of cheesy looking… I may still do that though, we'll see. Any thoughts?

Ah! Hate that! Ive done that before. A custom stamp is a great idea! I did stickers, they look OK, but I think everyone knows you have a sticker because you forgot to print something. I think the stamp would look better. Love the cards!

a custom stamp would be work, or you could even run them through your printer

Hi guys, the stamp idea never even crossed my mind, duh! Only one problem though: the cards are a glossy paper… I wonder if the ink will stick??

That's frustrating. I don't know how many cards you had made, but how about glossy, full bleed colored labels? Any color and shape you like to compliment the front, will stick to glossy paper, and wont look like as much of an after thought as generic matte labels do. Best of luck. Love the new cards!

I would go with stickers, can you get clear ones? or use the coloured ones as suggested. Easy mistake to make, blame the printer, they should have asked you :-)

Stamp it up! You can get a cheap stamp for $10! They are really pretty, btw.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Labels are indeed my best bet to avoid smudging on the glossy finish. I'm thinking clear frosted… I'll keep you posted!

I say get a round stamp, lots of sweet etsy sellers making them, or at the printer I use, you can get a photo image type sticker, you design in photoshop and upload it.
