completed commission

The two custom necklaces I created for my medical student client have at last been fully realized. She's doing her PhD in neuroscience so we worked together to come up with the perfect anatomical/organ focused pieces (inspired by my "Like Breathing" necklace with the lungs.) I'm really pleased with how they turned out.
I think they look sharp displayed next to each other. It would have been fun to create a custom display for them to rest in while not being worn.

These are awesomely fantastic! I was put on to your jewelry by...I think it's your sister? Sam? (this was over a year ago, so I could be rusty here). Either way, she did the makeup on the colondar shoot up in Lake George.
So I saw these anatomical pieces and immediately thought..there should be one with a colon!! (and a barbie butt?)
I have what I affectionately call a Barbie Butt now, thanks to cancer. And with my warped sense of humor would absolutely get the biggest kick out of that.
Anywho, your jewelry is all delicious and I wish I could afford some

These are beautiful pieces. I'd be interisted in learning more about your work for a shop I run at http://www.thepearproject.com Check out the site & if it looks like something you'd be interisted in there is information on how to sell with us on the "About Us" page of the site.

PS. Becca: so cool that you know my sister! And it's sweet that she told you about my work - she's the best. She does the colondar shoot every year, donating her time and talents to such a good cause. What month were you? I'll have to look for it! :-) Thanks for checking out my blog.

What you do with those Barbies, - even the idea of of seeing Barbie as something that may participate in any artwork - had been totally alien to me... Until I saw your creations. They are mesmerizing. I can not explain, but I just like them. I will keep coming back, until I understand what they are trying to tell me. And after that. Good job! And good luck,Pal
