The King & Queen

Here's another one of the pieces from my solo show which I am particularly fond of…

King & Queen Brooch

This brooch was a fun one for me because it allowed me to play around with narrative, which I'm enjoying more and more in my work. Depending on the positioning on the wearer's clothing, you can change the "relationship" of the king and queen, creating a playful dialog between the characters. really clever , if i had it i'd always wear the queen in the uppermost position ;0)
is it just me or does barbie look really like cate blanchett in this piece?

Oh gosh, this piece is just beautiful! I think it's my favourite so far! Your pieces just get better and better, you'll bankrupt me if i get to a gallery who sells your pieces!

These brooches are probably my favorite of all your pieces! They remind me of a chained brooch I wore a lot in the 80's but was not nearly as cool as these are!
