I have been debating if I should attend this year's conference. I attended Tyler School of Art and as you know, Stanley Lechtzin is the keynote speaker. I have MANY mixed feelings on SNAG (and Stanley Lechtzin and Tyler) and let my SNAG membership drop YEARS ago because I felt unrepresented and USED as a designer. (USED = I feel the Metalsmith advertising department is the ONLY department of SNAG that wants to represent designers.) However, I am feeling/hoping there is change in the air. I have asked others to "Sell me on the conference. Tell me why I should attend." And sadly, haven't gotten any response. Once again, leading me to believe that SNAG is not for me. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Feel free to contact me...
